Washington's Sean McGrew: Battling for role
McGrew is looking to become a third-down contributor this season, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.
Analysis:
Though he's undersized at 5-foot-7, McGrew does carry some hype as a former composite four-star recruit in the class of 2016. Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed are both ahead of him on the depth chart, but there is room for a No.3 role in the Washington backfield. McGrew and Kamari Pleasant will be battling with each other over the course of spring practice and it'll be one of Washington's key position competitions leading into fall camp.
