Titans add diehard Tom Brady fan Luke Falk at same slot Brady was drafted in
The Tennessee Titans selected quarterback Luke Falk out of Washington State with the 199th overall pick in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
With Matt Cassell departing in the offseason, the Titans needed to add some quarterback depth behind starter Marcus Mariota, and the prolific Falk fills that need.
Those Titans fans looking for reasons to be overly optimistic about Falk's selection can note that the 199th overall pick in the draft was the same spot in which the New England Patriots took Tom Brady.
Falk, who was linked to the Patriots in the draft process, is a diehard Brady fan and was known for wearing a TB12 hat around campus.
"He loves Tom Brady," former teammate Tavares Martin said, according to WEEI's Ryan Hannable. "Every single thing about him, every little detail about him."

What the analysts are saying
- "Falk's arm strength or athleticism won't jump off the screen, but his touch is among the best in this year's deep quarterback class."
- Luke Easterling, Draftwire - "There are some holes that could be hard to correct in Falk's game and 'average starter' may be his ceiling." - Lance Zierlein, NFL.com
