The Jacksonville Jaguars have selected quarterback Tanner Lee out of Nebraska with the 203rd overall pick in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
After Chad Henne left in the offseason, the Jaguars needed to add depth to compete for the backup spot behind Blake Bortles, and Lee will battle Cody Kessler for that job in camp.
While Lee certainly has impressive physical traits at the position, he threw 16 interceptions last season for Nebraska, the worst total in the entire country.

What the analysts are saying
- "Strong-armed quarterback who's not a consistently accurate thrower and isn't comfortable with pressure mounting." - CBS Sports
- "Lee, who passed for 3,143 yards and 23 touchdowns this season, could certainly intrigue scouts because of his raw physical tools, but he projects as a free-agent prospect for now." - NFLDraftScout.com.
