The Green Bay Packers have selected wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling out of South Florida with the 174th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Valdes-Scantling is the second receiver taken by the Packers on Saturday after they landed J'Mon Moore in the fourth round. As a rookie, he could see time as the club's third or fourth receiver, but will have plenty of competition.

What the analysts are saying
- "Height, weight, speed prospect with intriguing deep ball capabilities as a big field stretcher. Valdes-Scantling is a work in progress who hasn't learned how to create leverage within his linear routes and doesn't have the ball skills he will need to win downfield." - Lance Zierlein, NFL.com
- "Raw in his route running. May get hurt by physical cornerbacks at the line. Has a Brandon Lafell feel to his game." - CBS Sports
