The Miami Dolphins have selected linebacker Jerome Baker out of Ohio State in the third round with the 73rd pick of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Baker blitzed the 40-yard dash at the combine in just 4.53 seconds, while also posting impressive numbers in the vertical leap and broad jump. He gives the Dolphins a much-needed speedster in the linebacker core, and should be a contributor from Day 1 for the AFC East club.

What the analysts are saying
- "Speed-predicated linebacker who's undersized and almost looks like a safety on the field. Gets engulfed by offensive linemen more than you'd like, but flashed the ability to swipe smaller blockers away." - CBS Sports
- "Baker is a likely 4-3 weakside linebacker candidate with the range and speed to chase and tackle around the field and the coverage talent to squeeze routes from man or zone." - Lance Zierlein, NFL.com
