The Denver Broncos have selected running back Royce Freeman out of Oregon in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft, 71st overall.
The Broncos had a glaring need at running back after releasing C.J. Anderson this offseason. Freeman should immediately battle with Devontae Booker and De'Angelo Henderson for Denver's starting gig.

What the analysts are saying
- "He has outstanding size and is a natural runner with good vision who could step into an early starter's role - especially if teams believe he can handle third-down snaps as well." - Lance Zierlein, NFL.com
- "Freeman may look the part but he is not the consistent punisher his size suggests, looking to elude rather than barrel through defenders, at times." - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
