The Los Angeles Rams have selected defensive end Ogbonnia Okoronkwo out of Oklahoma with the 160th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
The Rams needed to add a pass-rusher after trading Robert Quinn this offseason. Okoronkwo will get a lot of one-on-one situations to take advantage of early on, with the dominant duo of Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh manning the middle of the defensive line.

What the analysts are saying
- "He lacks the physical and athletic traits that would make him a more dangerous NFL rusher, but he flashes some explosiveness and has enough room for improvement." - Lance Zierlein, NFL.com
- "More of a straight-line player than a guy you'll want moving laterally in coverage or off the ball, but he provides enough as a pure pass-rusher with a high enough ceiling athletically." - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
- "Okoronkwo uses his shorter frame to his advantage, getting consistent bend and turning his low center of gravity into a weapon against bigger offensive tackles." - Luke Easterling, DraftWire
