With a 4-3 victory Saturday over the Detroit Red Wings, the Toronto Maple Leafs tied their franchise record for wins in a season with 45.
The 45 wins match the marks set during the 1998-99, 1999-00, and 2003-04 seasons. Meanwhile, the club also tied their franchise record for home wins in a season with 26.
Furthermore, the Leafs also extended their home winning streak to 13 games, which also stands as a franchise-best.
The Maple Leafs have 97 points on the year, six shy of the franchise record (103) set in 2003-04. With seven games to play, there's ample time to set a franchise mark.
