The Los Angeles Chargers have selected center Scott Quessenberry out of UCLA with the 155th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Quessenberry will likely act as depth behind Pro Bowler Mike Pouncey, who was signed during free agency this offseason.

Scott Quessenberry Bio

Position: C
School: UCLA
College Experience: Redshirt Senior
Height: 6-4
Weight: 310 lbs

What the analysts are saying

  • "Burly, barrel-chested center who plays with good balance, body control, and consistency. Quessenberry is average with his movements and isn't all that powerful as a drive blocker, but he does generate some pop at the point of attack and he's solid all the way around."
    - Lance Zierlein, NFL.com
  • "Quessenberry may not be a physically dominating player but his build, agility, and technique are each NFL-caliber, warranting a Day 3 selection and the expectation that he will compete for playing time early in his pro career." - Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout.com
