The Seattle Seahawks have selected running back Rashaad Penny out of San Diego State with the 27th overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft.

The Seahawks have been searching for a backfield mate for Russell Wilson since Marshawn Lynch's retirement. Penny joins a running back group that's highlighted by Chris Carson, Mike Davis, and C.J. Prosise.
