The San Francisco 49ers have selected offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey out of Notre Dame with the ninth overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft.
McGlinchey joins Notre Dame teammate Quenton Nelson, who went sixth overall on Thursday, as top-10 picks off one of the most dominant offensive lines in college football.
The addition of McGlinchey is a huge addition for Kyle Shanahan's offense in San Francisco, as the 49ers allowed 43 sacks last season, 10th worst in the entire league.
