The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have selected linebacker Jack Cichy out of Wisconsin with the 202nd overall pick in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Cichy would have a chance to be a starter on most teams, but with Kwon Alexander, Lavonte David, and Kendell Beckwith currently occupying the starting positions, he'll get more use as a special teamer early in his career.

What the analysts are saying
- "When healthy, Cichy's intelligence and consistency are big attractions at the position, but his lack of explosiveness and durability concerns could hurt his draft stock. Cichy projects as an NFL backup who will help immediately on special teams." - Lance Zierlein, NFL.com
- "Coming off a torn ACL in August, Cichy wasn’t able to do anything but the bench press at the combine. But he showed up at Wisconsin’s pro day last week and posted a shuttle time that would have been fourth-best in Indianapolis and a 3-cone time that would have ranked fifth. Those numbers certainly turned some heads just eight months after a severe knee injury." - Adam Hoge, Pro Football Weekly
