What the analysts are saying
- "Avery is a big linebacker with a history of production whether he's playing inside or outside linebacker. While he's a little tight-hipped, his movement in the open field is generally unencumbered. While Avery offers some versatility, his best spot appears to be as a 4-3 strong-side linebacker with plus special teams ability." - Lance Zierlein, NFL.com
- "Off-ball linebacker with spring-loaded movements who'll thump against the run but was best on the edge as a tenacious pass-rusher. Can be overwhelmed by offensive linemen in the run game." - CBSSports.com
