The Atlanta Falcons have selected cornerback Isaiah Oliver out of Colorado in the second round with the 58th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Many pundits projected Oliver to be selected near the end of the first round on Thursday, so the Falcons grabbing him with the 58th pick represents exceptional value for the NFC South club.
While strong in coverage, the Falcons secondary ranked 29th in the league last season with just 8 interceptions, an area that a playmaker such as Oliver should help with.
