The Baltimore Ravens selected tight end Mark Andrews out of Oklahoma in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft, 86th overall.
Andrews has a prototypical frame for an NFL tight end and should become a good target for Joe Flacco and first-round pick Lamar Jackson going forward.
Although he's disinterested as a blocker, he could very well become a dangerous red-zone target.
Mark Andrews Bio
Position: TE
School: Oklahoma
College Experience: Redshirt Junior
Height: 6-5
Weight: 256 lbs
Strengths
- Possesses ideal size and frame for an NFL tight end.
- Dominant in the red zone, which should be his value proposition to NFL teams.
- A good route runner who reads defenses well and can readjust.
Weaknesses
- Shows little to no interest in blocking and could become an absolute liability if used as anything but a receiver.
- Due to his subpar straight line speed, Andrews could be neutralized by larger safeties in the NFL.
- Appears to be indifferent when he's not directly involved in the passing game.
