The Tennessee Titans have traded up to select safety Dane Cruikshank out of Arizona with the 152nd overall pick in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

The Titans sent the 162nd pick (fifth round) and 215th pick (sixth round) to the Baltimore Ravens to jump up the board. Tennessee has been aggressive in this year's draft, trading up three times to select all three of their draftees thus far.

What the analysts are saying

  • "Cruikshank does have talent and is a hungry hitter, but he may lack the consistency in coverage to hold up as a full-time safety or cornerback. His ability to run and hit could make him a Day 3 target for a team looking to turn him into a backup defensive back and special teams ace." - Lance Zierlein, NFL.com
  • "Teams are split on where Cruikshank will play at the next level, as some feel he's sized as a safety while others feel he has the ball skills to play cornerback." - Tony Pauline, Draft Analyst
