The Denver Broncos have selected tight end Troy Fumagalli out of Wisconsin with the 156th pick in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Fumagalli was a productive pass-catching option for the Badgers during his college career, posting 547 yards and four touchdowns in 2017.
The red-zone threat adds much-needed depth at tight end in Denver, and will compete with Jeff Heuerman, Jake Butt, and Austin Traylor for playing time.

What the analysts are saying
- "He lacks athletic ability to consistently get open as a pass catcher, but he can poke holes in zone coverage and work himself free in play-action." Lance Zierlein, NFL.com
- "Fumagalli has physical limitations and isn't a big-play threat, but he takes pride in being a complete player and his crafty routes and reliable ball skills will be his calling card to an extended pro career." Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
