Panthers add playmaker with Rashaan Gaulden in 3rd round

The Carolina Panthers have selected defensive back Rashaan Gaulden out of Tennessee in the third round with the 85th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Gaulden primarily played safety for the Volunteers but could line up as a slot cornerback in the Panthers' secondary. Carolina certainly needs added depth for a secondary that ranked in the middle of the league in passing yards allowed, and Gaulden's addition fills that need.
