"The Mountain" from HBO's "Game of Thrones" is officially the strongest man in the world.
Hafthor Bjornsson won the World's Strongest Man competition Sunday in the Philippines after finishing second in each of the past two years. The 29-year-old Icelander placed first in three of the competition's six events: vehicle dead lift, max overhead, and loading race, according to Des Bieler of the Washington Post.
This is the second big achievement for Bjornsson this year. In March, he broke the world raw deadlift record by lifting 1,041 pounds at the 2018 Arnold Strongman Classic.
