Indians select prep right-hander Lenny Torres Jr. with 41st pick
With the 41st pick in the 2018 MLB amateur draft, the Cleveland Indians selected Lenny Torres Jr., a right-handed pitcher from New York who has committed to St. John's University.
Torres has a fastball that can hit 97 mph and is generally able to throw it for strikes. It remains to be seen whether he can develop the stamina to be a big-league starter or if he's destined to be a flame-throwing reliever.

MLB.com money quote: "Torres has a slider that could be a future plus pitch, though he doesn't always show it now, dominating his competition with his fastball. He'll also fiddle with a changeup in the bullpen that has some arm side run, but he doesn't use it in games."
