The Golden State Warriors have extended a qualifying offer to shooting guard Patrick McCaw, league sources told ESPN's Chris Haynes.
That means that when free agency commences July 1, the Warriors will retain the right to match any offer sheet tendered to McCaw.
In 128 regular-season appearances to date, McCaw has averaged four points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in just under 16 minutes per game.
Since being drafted 38th overall in 2016, the 22-year-old has been part of the Warriors' back-to-back NBA championships.
