Barkley isn't on board with 'Space Jam' sequel
The prospects of a "Space Jam" sequel may excite some, but Charles Barkley would prefer to see the original film left alone.
When asked by Entertainment Tonight's Deidre Behar at Monday night's NBA Awards if he's on board with "Space Jam 2," Barkley gave a flat "no."
"'Space Jam 1' was a classic," Barkley said. "I don't like when people try to imitate something that was already good."

LeBron James' production company, SpringHill Entertainment, inked a deal with Warner Bros. Entertainment in 2015, and while there have been rumors of him starring in a "Space Jam" sequel, he has yet to confirm it.
"Hey, I know LeBron - if he really liked it, he would have been in the movie instead of executive producing. I'd executive produce number two, but I don't want to be in it," Barkley said, adding that he's unlikely to see the film if it hits theaters.
Justin Lin, who has been tapped to direct "Space Jam 2," confirmed last August that the project was still happening, but the timing wasn't "right yet."
