Report: Aaron Gordon agrees to re-sign with Magic on 4-year, $84M deal
The Orlando Magic and restricted free-agent forward Aaron Gordon have agreed to a four-year, $84-million deal, sources told The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears.
The deal is fully guaranteed, with no options for player or team, sources told Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.
Gordon is coming off a breakout season in which he averaged 17.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and one steal, while shooting 33.6 percent on 5.9 3-point attempts per game, career highs across the board. He flashed more shooting, ballhandling, playmaking, and defensive ability, while remaining a force in the open court.
The Magic, however, may have to make a move to balance out their roster, which, between Gordon, Jonathan Isaac, Mo Bamba, Nikola Vucevic, Bismack Biyombo, and Khem Birch, is logjammed in the frontcourt.
