Report: Lakers, Lance Stephenson agree to contract
The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to a contract with wing Lance Stephenson, his agency, Priority Sports, announced.
The deal is for one year with a salary of $4.5 million, league sources told ESPN's Chris Haynes.
Stephenson played all 82 games for the Indiana Pacers last season, recording 9.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game.
The move is the third in quick succession for the Lakers on the first full day of free agency, following the blockbuster signing of four-time MVP LeBron James and the reported re-signing of shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
Of course, Stephenson and James have some unique prior history. The former was notably caught on camera blowing into the latter's ear during a stoppage in play in the 2014 Eastern Conference finals between the Pacers and James' Miami Heat.
