Garrett Temple exercised his $8-million player option to remain with the Sacramento Kings for the 2018-19 season, according to Marc Spears of The Undefeated.
Even with Temple opting in, the Kings will have roughly $20 million in cap room to take on bloated salary in hopes of fishing for a draft pick.
Temple averaged 8.4 points while shooting 39.2 percent from deep last season as a solid role player for the Kings. He is a decent 3-and-D wing and would make for a decent trade chip given that he's on an expiring deal.
