Report: 76ers considering buying out Bayless to make room for LeBron

The Philadelphia 76ers are reportedly strongly considering a buyout with point guard Jerryd Bayless to make more room to potentially sign LeBron James, according to Yahoo Sports' Jordan Schultz.

Bayless is entering the final year of his deal worth $8.5 million.

The journeyman has spent the last two seasons in Philadelphia and has played for seven teams in his 10-year career.

He averaged 7.9 points and shot 37 percent from three in 39 games last season.
