Report: Cavaliers shopping Korver
The Cleveland Cavaliers seem to be undecided on moving Kevin Love, but beyond him they're not married to any of their vets.
For example, the Cavaliers are shopping sharpshooter Kyle Korver, according to Terry Pluto of Cleveland.com.
Korver is owed $7.5 million this season and another $7.5 million for 2019-20, although that deal is only guaranteed for $3.4 million.
The 37-year-old Korver keeps himself in tremendous shape, but he's largely a bench player at this advanced point of his career. He remained one of the deadliest shooters in the league last season, connecting on 43.6 percent of his threes on 5.2 attempts per game, but was largely a liability in every other aspect.
Nevertheless, Korver could still be an asset for several contenders. The bar is admittedly quite low, but Korver was one of the Cavs' best playoff performers in their run to the Finals last season, and was instrumental in their series victories over the Raptors and Celtics.
Cleveland is pivoting into a rebuild following the departure of LeBron James. Their immediate plans are to develop their young pieces like Rodney Hood, who remains unsigned as a restricted free agent.
