Josh Hader came under fire on Tuesday as a series of old homophobic and racist tweets of his surfaced during the All-Star Game.
While the Milwaukee Brewers fireman was on the mound getting roughed up by the American League All-Stars, inappropriate tweets from Hader's past were retweeted. Shortly afterward, Hader's account went private.

Following the game, Hader apologized for the misconduct, telling Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports "I was young, immature, and stupid."
"When you're a kid, you tweet what's on your mind," Hader added, according to Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times.

Hader's family, who were wearing jerseys with his name on them, reportedly took off their All-Star uniforms during the game and were given generic replacement jerseys, according to Passan.
