Huddersfield Town has sold Tom Ince to Stoke City and will receive an initial £10 million that could rise to £12 million with add-ons, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
The winger inked a four-year contract in Staffordshire to join a new era for the recently relegated club under manager Gary Rowett.
Ince, 26, made 33 Premier League appearances for the Terriers last season. He scored a vital late winner against Watford in April to help maintain Huddersfield's top-flight status.
Stoke kicks off its Championship campaign at Leeds United on August 5.
