The Atlanta Falcons have given both head coach Dan Quinn and general manager Thomas Dimitroff three-year contract extensions, locking them down through the 2022 season.
The Falcons announced the news Wednesday in unique fashion on Twitter. (For any confused younger readers, google "Starsky and Hutch.")
The duo of Quinn and Dimitroff have helped the Falcons return to contention over the past two years, winning 21 regular-season games, making two playoff appearances, and reaching Super Bowl LI.
Before Quinn was hired in 2015, Atlanta had won just 10 games from 2013-14.
