Wolves sign full-back Jonny Castro on loan after Atletico Madrid switch
Atletico Madrid announced Wednesday that they have signed defender Jonny Castro from fellow La Liga club Celta Vigo and immediately loaned him to promoted Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers for the upcoming campaign.
Jonny signed a six-year deal at Wanda Metropolitano for an undisclosed fee, but will not wear the red and white for another 12 months.
And we couldn't let Jonny go without recording a message for everyone. #BienvenidoJonny

He becomes Wolves' ninth signing of the season as Nuno Espirito Santo looks to adequately prepare his men for a return to the top flight.
Jonny missed just two La Liga games last season as Celta finished in midtable. The former Spain under-21 international, who can operate as either a right- or left-back, played 221 matches in all for the Galician team, which he'd been with since childhood.
