Landry seemingly attempts to recruit Dez to Browns
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry continues to be hot on the recruiting trail despite saying last month that his new team already boasts the talent to win the Super Bowl.
Landry seemed to extend an offer to free agent Dez Bryant Wednesday night after Bryant showed appreciation for Landry's inspiring speech in Tuesday's premiere of HBO's "Hard Knocks," which follows the Browns' preparations for the 2018 season.
Bryant retweeted Landry's reply.
Earlier this week, Landry said New York Giants star and personal friend Odell Beckham Jr. would be open to the idea of joining the Browns.
The Browns may have a sudden need at receiver. They traded former first-round pick Corey Coleman to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The same day, rookie fourth-rounder Antonio Callaway was cited for marijuana possession.
Meanwhile, veteran Josh Gordon remains away from the team while working to maintain his overall health.
