Hue Jackson gives confusing response to Jarvis Landry's speech
Everyone loved Jarvis Landry's epic, rousing speech to the Cleveland Browns' wide receiver room during the first episode of HBO's "Hard Knocks."
Well, nearly everyone.
Surprisingly, when he was asked about it on Monday, Browns head coach Hue Jackson didn't like that Landry took it upon himself to motivate the team.
The receiver was widely praised for showing the kind of leadership perceived to be missing during Jackson's tenure. He urged his fellow receivers to show up every day ready to practice unless they're ailing from a serious injury.
The Browns acquired Landry this offseason in a trade with the Miami Dolphins and subsequently handed him a big-money extension.
However, it appears the pass-catcher still has to learn how the Jackson-era Browns "go about it."
