Report: Dolphins seeking 3rd-round pick for DeVante Parker
The Miami Dolphins want a third-round draft pick in any potential trade for wide receiver DeVante Parker, reports NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Parker has been limited to just two appearances this year because of a finger injury, but is now completely healthy, according to his agent. The 25-year-old is signed through the 2019 season.
Though he hasn't lived up to expectations as a former first-round pick, Parker has enjoyed some level of success with the Dolphins. His most productive season came in 2016 when he posted 56 catches for 744 yards and four touchdowns.
"I would love to be here long-term," Parker told Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post on Friday amid the swirling trade rumors. "I get along with everybody here. Front office. All of them. Cool people. I wouldn't mind being here for long-term."
It remains to be seen whether Miami's asking price will drop as the Oct. 30 trade deadline nears.
