Patrick Mahomes' affinity for ketchup has become a hot topic since it was revealed Wednesday that the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback likes to put it on his steak.
Heinz Ketchup is now offering Mahomes a lifetime supply of the condiment, but on one condition.
The current NFL single-season record for touchdown passes is held by Peyton Manning, who threw 55 in 2013. He also added a rushing touchdown to bring his total to 56 that year. Mahomes has thrown 31 touchdown passes through his first 10 games this season.
"I'm not opposed to it and I get ketchup for life," Mahomes said Thursday when asked about Heinz's offer, according to Pete Grathoff of the Kansas City Star. "I'll be sure to share it with some of the offensive linemen."
