Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley will be a game-time decision for Sunday's Week 16 contest against the Arizona Cardinals due to a knee injury.

"We’re not going to do anything that isn’t smart for Todd," Rams head coach Sean McVay said.

McVay added that running back C.J. Anderson, who signed with the team on Tuesday, could start if Gurley doesn't play. John Kelly and Justin Davis may also get carries in Gurley's absence.

Gurley left briefly during the Rams' Week 15 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles but returned to the game without further incident. He rushed for 48 yards and two touchdowns in the contest while adding a team-high 10 receptions for 76 yards.

The 24-year-old was named to his third Pro Bowl this week after rushing for 1,251 yards and 17 touchdowns so far this season. He's added 59 receptions for 580 yards and four more scores.
