Report: Bucks' Gasol expected to miss 1 month with left ankle injury
Milwaukee Bucks center Pau Gasol is expected to miss approximately one month of action due to a left ankle injury, league sources told ESPN's Malika Andrews.
The 38-year-old veteran has played 30 total minutes for Milwaukee since joining the team on March 3. He last took the floor on March 10 in a loss to his former team, the San Antonio Spurs.
Gasol has averaged 1.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 0.7 assists on 1-of-6 shooting across three outings.
He's one of several Bucks players who will be missing significant time that will extend into the playoffs. Nikola Mirotic has been ruled out for two-to-four weeks after an X-ray revealed a sprain and fracture in his left thumb, while former Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon will reportedly miss six-to-eight weeks with a minor plantar fascia tear in his right foot.
Milwaukee owns a three-game lead over the Toronto Raptors for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 54-19 record.
