Toronto Raptors forward OG Anunoby is out indefinitely after undergoing an emergency appendectomy to treat acute appendicitis Thursday evening, the team announced.
While the Raptors offered no timeline for the second-year player's recovery, league sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania that Anunoby is expected to be sidelined for a minimum of two weeks.
The 21-year-old averaged seven points and 2.9 rebounds in 20.2 minutes per game in the regular season.
The Raptors' postseason tips off Saturday at 5:00 p.m. ET with the team taking on the seventh-seeded Orlando Magic in the first round.
