Elliott's dad predicts he'll be the NFL's 'highest-paid RB ever'

Ezekiel Elliott's father, Stacy Elliott, believes his son is in for a huge payday.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, Stacy predicted that the running back will set a new record with his next contract with the Dallas Cowboys.

"Ezekiel will be the highest-paid running back ever, in the history of the NFL. I'll predict that," Stacy said.

"Jerry Jones is a good man ... when he drafted Ezekiel, he knew what he was doing," he added.

The Cowboys, who selected Elliott fourth overall in the 2016 draft, announced Wednesday that they'd be picking up his fifth-year option, keeping him with the team through the 2020 season.
