Bronny James' AAU team inks 1st-of-its-kind deal with Flight Club
LeBron "Bronny" James Jr.'s AAU team, the North Coast Blue Chips, is partnering with sneaker consignment store Flight Club for its 2019 summer season.
As part of the sponsorship deal - an industry first - Flight Club will design the Blue Chips' home and away Nike jerseys and provide the team with sneakers, hoodies, towels, and duffel bags, according to ESPN's Nick DePaula. Bronny's father, LeBron James, hand picked some of the shoes.
The sponsorship falls within compliance guidelines because the shoes and apparel are being provided for games and travel use, sources told DePaula.
