Wade possibly leaked as NBA 2K20 Legends Edition cover athlete

The cover athlete for the upcoming NBA 2K20 Legends Edition may have been revealed.

An image shared Thursday on Twitter shows recently retired Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade featured on promotional material for the video game along with a release date of Sept. 6.

Wade has never appeared on an NBA 2K cover.

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo was the cover athlete for the standard edition of NBA 2K last year, while LeBron James graced the cover the game's 20th anniversary edition.
