Watch: Lonzo discusses leaving BBB on 'Ball in the Family' season finale
"Ball in the Family" wrapped up its fourth season Sunday by focusing on the aftermath of the scandal involving Big Baller Brand co-founder Alan Foster.
Toward the end of the episode, LaVar Ball tells sons Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo that he considered shutting down Big Baller Brand, but believes it can move past the drama.
Lonzo, who hinted at joining Nike in the days after the scandal broke in March, then explains that he wants to separate from the brand due to the negativity surrounding it.
"Obviously, my dad wants triple Bs, you know, to be alive and well again. But personally, I don't know if that's possible," Lonzo says in the clip below (starts around the 22-minute mark). "Obviously, I have a lot of love for my family and I want to be with them, but at the end of the day, if I don't feel it can be the brand that I want it to be, then I just got to move on."
Facebook announced last week that it has renewed "Ball in the Family" for a fifth season.
