Clemson may not be a top producer of professional basketball talent, but its players have enjoyed the longest NBA careers of any school, according to a new study by Grand Canyon University.

After analyzing data on every player to ever appear on an active NBA roster, the Grand Canyon research team found that Clemson alumni have recorded the longest average career length at 7.71 years spent in the league. Alabama was second with 7.43 years on average, followed by Auburn with 7.26.

The study also looked at which schools have produced the most NBA players. Kentucky landed in the top spot with 107 all-time players, while UCLA was close behind with 97. The Wildcats also had the most players in the NBA of any school during the 2018-19 season.
