Nike officially unveils Giannis' 1st signature sneaker
Giannis Antetokounmpo's first signature sneaker is finally here.
Nike officially unveiled the Zoom Freak 1 on Friday ahead of its release. The shoe features several tributes to the Milwaukee Bucks star's family, including a rose-inspired design in remembrance of his late father and the message "I am my father's legacy" printed into the outsole.
"Antetokounmpo has an incredible story," apparel designer Dustin Mangan said in a press release. "His love for Greece and reverence for his family's journey is all great fuel for designing something unique for him. We can bridge ideas of European luxury and comfort that embody him as a person."
Introducing the Zoom Freak 1.@Giannis_An34’s debut signature shoe honors his Greek heritage, while designed for his freakish speed, power and control.
