The Washington Wizards have re-signed center Thomas Bryant to a fully guaranteed three-year, $25-million contract, league sources told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.
It's a tremendous development for the 21-year-old. Bryant played sparingly with the Los Angeles Lakers after being selected No. 42 overall in 2017. However, after being claimed off waivers by the Wizards last July, he took advantage of Dwight Howard's season-long injury struggles, eventually claiming the Wizards' starting role.
In just under 21 minutes per game this season, Bryant averaged 10.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game with a league-leading 68.5 percent shooting on two-point shots.
