Raptors ranked as world's most popular basketball team in June
The Toronto Raptors' first NBA championship provided a big boost to their Instagram popularity.
Sports management company Deportes & Finanzas ranked the Raptors as the most popular basketball team in the world based on the team's 28.9 million Instagram interactions for the month of June. The Golden State Warriors were second with 24.8 million interactions.
The only non-NBA team to make the list was the Turkish club Fenerbahce.
