Milan announce arrival of Rafael Leao from Lille for reported €30M
Milan added Rafael Leao from Lille on Thursday to beef up their attack, the Italian side announced.
The 20-year-old forward completed the move by signing a five-year contract.
Although neither side disclosed the financial details of the transfer, it's understood that Milan secured Leao's services through an initial €30-million fee, with €5-million in add-ons, according to Football-Italia.
Leao was influential last season for a Lille club that finished second behind Paris-Saint Germain in Ligue 1. He ended the campaign with eight goals and three assists.
Leao also played for the Portugal under-17 side that won the European Championship in 2016.
News of his arrival comes just days after Milan sold Patrick Cutrone to Wolverhampton for a reported €18 million fee, with a further €4 million payable in add-ons.
