Someone dropped a hefty amount of money on a Honolulu prep school basketball jersey believed to have been worn by President Barack Obama.
Heritage Auctions sold the 1978-79 Punahou High School jersey for $120,000 to a collector who asked not to be identified, according to The Associated Press. While Punahou couldn't confirm the jersey's authenticity, Heritage Auctions said every detail of it matches the one Obama was photographed wearing.

The jersey was apparently headed for the trash when it was recovered by former Punahou student Peter Noble. He said a portion of the sale from the jersey will go to the school.
