Kansas City native Eric Stonestreet, one of the stars of the sitcom "Modern Family," has taken on a new role as the fictional younger brother of Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.
The Chiefs released a video Thursday introducing the world to Randy Reid, who paid a visit to the team's training camp this summer. He owns a jet ski business in Oxnard, California, and had to quit football at the age of 10 after breaking both his ankles.
"He brings energy to the team," Andy said of Randy. "Guys love him, man, it's ridiculous."
The Chiefs open the season Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
