Stephen A. says Drake was afraid of jinxing Raptors during Finals
Drake was apparently reluctant to appear on television with ESPN's Stephen A. Smith during the NBA Finals over fear of jinxing the Toronto Raptors.
Smith, who was spotted chatting with the Raptors global ambassador ahead of Game 1 of the team's series against the Golden State Warriors, revealed the details of their conversation during an appearance on the "Rap Radar" podcast.
"He didn't want to come on (the "SportsCenter" specials) until the Finals was over because he didn't want to do anything to jinx the Raptors," Smith said.

Drake has long been accused of bringing bad luck to sports teams, though some believe his curse may have finally been broken with the Raptors winning their first NBA championship this year.
